I’ll listen carefully to your requirements then take care of everything from start to finish, while always remaining sympathetic to your tastes, lifestyle and budget. From finding the best contractors and craftspeople to designing kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, sourcing unique statement pieces or commissioning made-to-measure furniture, curtains and soft furnishings, and adding those individual final touches that bring everything together perfectly, you can rest assured your home is in good hands.
With work featured in Homes and Interiors magazines, and a host of happy customers, I thrive on designing spaces that are tailored to the client. I’m all about the detail, and my professional methodology has proven results. Having studied at the prestigious British Institute of Interior design, I learned about art history and the role of the interior designer, as well as learning traditional upholstery techniques and other trades so that I can recognise and bring true quality craftsmanship to each of my projects.
I'm happy to work on projects anywhere in the UK or abroad. To make an appointment, give me a call on 07795 314428 and let's have a chat about how we can transform your space.

I was living and working in London in the publishing industry when I realised my true passion lay elsewhere.
Sure, I enjoyed the whirlwind of parties, book signings and launches, but more often than not, I found myself looking at the décor in the beautiful houses and grand locations the events were held in. You could say it was the beginning of my training.
The colours. The fabrics. The furniture. The accessories. The way it all worked together fired my imagination and I decided I wanted to play my own small part in the world of design and interiors and share my love of all things beautiful and stylish. I was already forever poring over style bibles, photographic books and interiors magazines, and regularly visiting Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and the Conran Shop to check out the latest products and follow the careers of the up and coming designers. But now I had a plan.
I spent some time studying at the prestigious British Institute of Interior design, where I learned about art history and the role of the interior designer. And learning traditional upholstery techniques taught me to recognise and appreciate quality craftsmanship and the sheer amount of work that goes into creating the exquisitely made pieces I wanted to sell in my shop – Chantillie House.
Swapping the bright lights and big city excitement of London for the dark skies of a small Dumfries border town might not seem like the most obvious route to establishing a successful interiors business but, I’m happy to say, Chantillie House is flourishing. From a building on the corner of the quaint high street in Moffat, I run my shop, interior design consultancy, and two luxury rental properties, hopefully bringing a little bit of glamour into people’s everyday lives. Come and see for yourself.
